Facial Rejuvenation

Facial Rejuvenation Massage, also known as ‘Natural Facelift Massage’, is a deeply relaxing, holistic treatment that focuses on the face, head and neck.

This nurturing treatment is great for those who prefer a natural approach.  The session does not rely on any special equipment, oils, creams or invasive procedures. Its benefits go well beyond the face, supporting the whole body to relax and feel more at ease.

The traditional Ayurvedic techniques release muscular tension and increase blood and lymphatic circulation in the face, head and neck.  This encourages vitality in the skin, a more glowing and youthful look, and an ‘ironing out’ of fine lines and wrinkles.

You will also benefit from this treatment if you carry any tension in the face, particularly around the jaw, temples, ears and neck.

You will leave the session feeling refreshed, reenergised and rejuvenated.

How does Facial Rejuvenation work?

As skin ages, the collagen and elastin fibres in connective tissue become matted and less mobile. This in turn creates the deep wrinkles associated with aging skin. In addition, muscle tension from habitual expressions in the face build and exaggerate the furrows of the face.

The specific techniques used in Facial Rejuvenation work to free these constrictions in the connective tissue of the face and neck, ease tension that has built up in the muscles, as well as improve blood and lymphatic circulation and rebalance energy. This contributes to giving you a more vibrant and youthful appearance with glowing skin, improved skin tone, better skin condition and elasticity. You may also find a reduction in puffiness, wrinkles and expression lines.

The treatment is incredibly relaxing and has helped people to sleep better, improve their approach to health and their general well-being, and benefit sinus related allergies.

What happens in a session?

In your first session, we go through a short client consultation form which outlines any conditions you may have, your skin type and your main aims for the treatments.

I will ask you to remove any jewellery you have on and any make up on your skin (mascara is fine).

The treatment uses a sequence of techniques that will cover your face, head and neck and the session lasts between 50 – 55 minutes. Halfway through your first treatment I will help you to sit up and have a look at the changes to the side of the face I’ve been working on so you can see the difference between the two sides.

How will I feel after the session?

The treatment can be very relaxing and you may find that you fall asleep during the session. You may feel relaxed and sleepy, or reenergised and refreshed. You may find that you sleep better following the treatment.

It’s important to drink plenty of water following the treatment, as with any massage water will help to flush out any toxins that have been released.

How many sessions will I need?

The benefits of Facial Rejuvenation are cumulative. A course of six treatments, ideally once a week, allows for optimum improvements, to undo habitual facial expressions and to retrain the facial muscles. Continuing with sessions once a month helps to maintain the long-term benefits.

Facial Rejuvenation can also be enjoyed as a one-off treatment for relaxation.

How much does it cost?

An hour of Facial Rejuvenation costs £50.  You can save on each session if you pay for a course of six sessions upfront.
